TrueL1f3 ARC review

TRUEL1F3 By Jay Kristoff

Publisher: Knopf books for young readers

Published Date: June 30th, 2020

Best friends have become enemies. Lovers have become strangers. And deciding whose side you’re on could be the difference between life and death. For Eve and Lemon, discovering the truth about themselves–and each other–was too much for their friendship to take. But with the country on the brink of a new world war–this time between the BioMaas swarm at CityHive and Daedalus’s army at Megopolis, loyalties will be pushed to the brink, unlikely alliances will form and with them, betrayals. But the threat doesn’t stop there, because the lifelikes are determined to access the program that will set every robot free, a task requiring both Eve and Ana, the girl she was created to replace. In the end, violent clashes and heartbreaking choices reveal the true heroes . . . and they may not be who you think they are.

Quick Star Rating: 4.5/5 stars

I have been a full year yall to get the closure of this trilogy after in true jay like fashion he left us hanging with our mouths open, minds blown and begging for answers.

I loved getting to see everyone’s POV and thoughts behind the actions. It really made it so very difficult to hate them more because the best villains are ones you kind of feel bad for. And someone Jay made me feel bad for some of them, others I was just as willing to throw off a cliff xD Lemon’s growth continued even more in this book and she stole my heart y’all completely. It was such a wonderful balance of action, heartbreak, romance and more! I didn’t think Jay could add more twists to the story, but he true cert left some for this one! I will say there is a particular thing that happened that will could definitely be a trigger to some so if you are curious I will glady tell you, but other wise my lips are sealed.

Theres so many things I just want to talk about, but I don’t like spoiling the book so expect a big discussion once this baby in your hands! Don’t forget to preorder this baby to help support our wonderful authors!
