When I heard Tricia talk about this book on tour and how it was her Slytherin romance I was so excited to get it! This book totally delivered that in case anyone was wondering!
I loved Alessandra, she is not our typical heroine and I was living for it. Her ambition, sass and willingness to show that her sexuality doesn’t hold her back is such serious goals. The way she gets herself out of any corner shes pushed into was so much fun to watch, the girl is sneaky yall I loved it!
Oh my Kallias aka Shadow King. His powers and backstory are quite tragic, but it was perfection. He was such a great character to see change and his interactions with Alessandra were so fun!
I love how Tricia paces her standalones so well. I was never bored in this book, I was completely hooked within chapters and the ending was so well. I mean I could of used a few more scenes at the end, but seriously the slow burn was done well=p You get the right amount of world building without it taking away from the story itself. Simply well done and I cannot wait to get the finished copy of this novel to add to my collection!
